Nevermind The Tempo è una specie di manualetto per sbagliare. Un disco sgrammaticato che non cerca nessuna grammatica, che non rincorre nessuna architettura musicale ma che tratteggia un mondo che non ha eguali nel panorama musicale del nostro Paese: storto e distorto, visionario e magico, improbabile e allucinato, inconfondibile e travolgente.
Più che un mondo, quello creato dagli I Hate My Village è un vero e proprio universo, pieno di galassie da esplorare: un big bang creativo libero e liberatorio attraversato da meteore sonore imprevedibili, un ipnotico buco nero da cui lasciarsi risucchiare.

Un album che è un elogio dell'approssimazione come risposta all'assillante ricerca di perfezione del nostro tempo. È la fusione brillante, selvatica e sfacciata di quattro artisti diversissimi ma capaci di completarsi alla perfezione, in modo naturale e istintivo, plasmando un mosaico sonoro disallineato ma meticolosamente assemblato, formato da tasselli imprecisi di intuizioni sorprendenti, combinazioni irriverenti e contaminazioni che corrodono ogni regola o equilibrio precostituito.

I Hate My Village release their new album 'Nevermind the Tempo' on 17th May via Locomotiv Records.

The album marks the long-awaited return of the most beloved supergroup, made up of four leading figures of the Italian indie scene: Adriano Viterbini (Bud Spencer Blues Explosion), Fabio Rondanini (Calibro 35, Afterhours), Marco Fasolo (Jennifer Gentle) and Alberto Ferrari (Verdena).

'Nevermind The Tempo' embodies the spirit and intentions that have animated the band since it started: "ten tracks that show how to travel through the sounds of Africa, how to creatively self-destruct and how to let words and notes flow, without paying too much attention to the overall narrative", says Adriano Viterbini.

An album that is a tribute to approximation as a response to our time's nagging search for perfection. It is the brilliant, wild, and brazen fusion of four very different artists capable of completing each other naturally and instinctively. On the record, I Hate My Village create a whole universe, full of galaxies to explore: a free and liberating creative big bang crossed by unpredictable sonic meteors, a hypnotic black hole to let yourself be sucked into.
